• Use the new REST API.
• Use JavaScript framework for the web client.
  • Use one of the following MVC-Javascript-Framework: AngularJS (Google), Backbone.js (Twitter?) or Ember.JS (Apple). See comparison based on a simple webapp. All suggestions have corresponding Yii extensions.
